Anyone seeing issues with clipboard on server 2025?

Just some of the known ones with reconnects and drag and drop.  What VDA version?

2411, clipboard redirection doesn't work on any 2025 VDA, in atleast 2 sites. Works on other OS versions in the same sites

Hmm, works fine in my lab.  Any Citrix policies or hardening blocking it?  If the install selects the harden image during the VDA install it turns off copy and paste.

Works after reinstalling the VDA. We in-place upgraded the VDA's from 2022 to 2025

<@U0149SMF9AR> did you enable the "Secure Defaults" option when installing the VDA?
This blocks Clipboard (and other features) unless they are specifically enabled via policy:

No, it worked when the server was a 2022, then appearantly broke during in-place upgrade.

Ok, that makes sense, I had similar VDA problems with in place OS upgrades, so I have just taken to removing the VDA, doing the update, then putting it back in.

I think that is the supported method, so makes sense

Oh sorry, I misread. I thought you upgraded the VDA version. (Monday, need coffee)

• VDA 2411 on Server 2022
• Clipboard was working correctly
• In-Place OS upgrade to Server 2025
• Clipboard broken

Clipboard worked in RDP after OS upgrade, just not HDX

If you need to upgrade another server to Server 2025, as mentioned in the article, uninstall the VDA prior to the upgrade and then re-install after the OS upgrade has completed
