Did someone ever build a way to centrally manage the configuration of ShareX?
f
We deploy the applicationconfig.json to the users directory at session launch via Ivanti workspace control.

Latest WEM versions supports json control, that would be a good option.

@Farid I also discovered the 4 JSON files in the Documents folder. But I was hesitant to replace them on logon, because what happens when ShareX brings a major update? Do I constantly have to maintain those source JSON files? I then thought about replacing certain lines with PowerShell during login with a replace or JSONpath function, but wasn't able to determine unique commands to be 100% reliant. @Jeff Riechers I don't have access to WEM yet, as are we are still not done with replacing all CSP Standard with CSP UHMC licenses..
I now "solved" this as following:
Copy code
$Source = "\\domain.loc\netlogon\HotkeysConfig.json"
$Destination = "\\filesrv.domain.loc\homes$\$env:USERNAME.DOMAIN\Dokumente\ShareX\HotkeysConfig.json"

if (Test-Path -Path $Destination)
{
    Copy-Item -Path $Source -Destination $Destination
}
