I have to upgrade a license server today from 1912 cu 4 to 2402 LTSR cu1. I’ll be switching to CVAD Compatibility License for HMC. Do I install the new licenses before or after the upgrade? I always thought it was after but does it make a difference?

Before as maybe with your current license you are not entitled to upgrade depending of your subscription advantage date.

thanks..i upgraded the license server and then imported the new licenses, removed the old ones, and everything was fine.
