Hello, Is it possible to add a Citrix Daas single tenant from a customer to a CSP Multitenant and use CSP mutlitenant licences on the single tenant ? I ask because one customer do not renew the daas tenant and licences will expire in 5 days and we are looking for solution.... Thanks
j
Hi - did you get an answer to this?
I guess you would be close to expiry now 😆

Hello, no 🙂 Finally, we created a new tenant for the customer in our Daas CSP multi tenant.
I think it's possible to invite single tenant customer in our csp MT tenant and after that I think we have to go to our MyCitrix account to allocate licences to the single tenant but we had no other licences than our csp MT licence.

We heard something similar, but we've only ever used MyCitrix for allocating on-premise CVAD. We want to keep their DaaS configuration, and simply get them to consume from a multitenant, i always felt a redeployment under the multi-tenant was the only way to achieve this, new machines, catalogs, etc. Is this what you ended up doing?

Yess, we create new customer in our CSP DAAS Multitenant then we linked the new customer on our control plane. And we redeployed new ressource location and Cloud Connector on our CSP Tenant and configurer Workspace on customer tenant. This because Citrix was unable to send new licence in the time.. So customer is using his single tenant for now and this night we will migrate it on the new mutli tenant with migrating workspace url to connect to new tenant and we let the single tenant die because licence are expired tomorrow.

Thanks for confirming, we've just spoken to Citrix, and they indicated similar. We would have redeploy the customer services as a new customer under our multi-tenant CSP orgid. Still awaiting 100% confirmation, but looking likely.

So if they are a pre-existing citrix daas customer you would need to follow the onboading process (invite a customer) https://community.citrix.com/tech-zone/design/reference-architectures/csp-cvads/#wiki-header-39 Basically, from the CSP Citrix Cloud Tenant, invite the customer. Once accepted you can add the Citrix DaaS service to their account. Then you need to deploy them a resource location, configure workspace etc etc. It sounds like they already have a RL, so I expect all you would need to do is configure their cloud connectors to connect to the CSP instance rather than their old Single Tenant Citrix Cloud. If they have a complex DaaS Site, then you could backup and restore the Site config using the Backup Tool: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-daas/backup-migrate-configuration/backup-restore-studio.html
