Anyone know how we can reset the database encryption key so if we need to take the database offline and add it back on, we can do it the right way? The database was added to the AG using transact SQL and it didn’t require the password. The custom is afraid that this use case (T-SQL) isn't supported by Citrix.

Please try the following steps: 1. change the password for user vuemUser on sql server 2. change the master key on this database USE <database name>; GO DECLARE @SQL NVARCHAR(MAX) = N'ALTER MASTER KEY REGENERATE WITH ENCRYPTION BY PASSWORD = ' + quotename('<password>', N'''') + N';'EXEC(@SQL); 3. change vuemUser password on WEM Infrastructure Service Configuration

Thanks a lot @Sharp Guo I'll keep you posted.
Msg 15329, Level 16, State 20, Line 1 The current master key cannot be decrypted. If this is a database master key, you should attempt to open it in the session before performing this operation. The FORCE option can be used to ignore this error and continue the operation but the data encrypted by the old master key will be lost. Completion time: 2024-10-16T054747.4061920-07:00
Any issue using the FORCE option?

Hi we had the same issue, with the previous team installed all defaults and did not set vuemuser giving it a default pwd, been in discussion with ctx and worked with SQL team, in the end we build a new DB and imported all configuration sets.
