Anyone know anything about the LogOffCheckSysModules_Internal_ registry value? This is set by default in a brand new 2203 CU5 VDA install, and contains native Citrix processes. I was going in to create the LogOffCheckSysModules value when I saw this. Zero references in Google. Furthermore, if we want to add Receiver.exe, should we be appending the former value, or adding it to the latter?
r
Its like the LogOffCheckSysModules but for Citrix apps like Analytics.exe,Concentr.exe,SelfServicePlugin.exe,SelfService.exe,wfcrun32.exe
but i think that one is just managed by our installer

Ha, I didn't want to ping you directly. So if I wanted to add Receiver.exe, can I still put it in LogOffSysCheckModules like we would normally do in the past? Any issue if we have the same exe in both values?
r
I htink so yes
n
Okay, I can run with that.
r
We dont have alot of internal doic on that one but it sems from what we have that you woudl never chnage it only we woudl
n
No internal docs on that? You don't say..... ๐Ÿ˜„
I think I'm going to leave that Internal one untouched just to be safe
r
๐Ÿ™‚ if its just a built in part of the installer then it woudlnt really need dpocumentaiton
n
In my case, I think it'd be useful info. We're used to adding Concentr.exe, which is in that internal one
If the VDA checks both values, I can leave that off the other value
r
yes i think you can just use the one that is piblic

I think some documentation is warranted just to avoid confusion. We also noticed the new key but assumed it was internal. I had the same questions as Nick and also resorted to Google with zero results, haha.
