Hello, I have a strange issue on a customer 1912CU5 citrix farm with citrix policies and printers mapping with Citrix UPM and WEM. Wem is not processing printers. Profile are in UPM filebased. For example, if we configure 4 printers in Citrix Policy mapped from a print server (session printers), the last printer (the 4th) is not showing in Citrix Session when we tried to print. If we add a 5th printer, the 4 first printers are showing but not the last added and so on... So the last add printer is never showed. Someone had this problem ? Thanks in advance.

Which version of WEM? And please update to 1912 CU9, a lot of has been fixed in 4 CUs.

Customer could not upgrade to CU9 because Citrix farm will be depreciated during this year. Wem is in version 2112.

Alright. We still have CVE's around and fixed issues like • Printers connected to Universal Print Server might not appear in sessions for printing. The issue occurs when the

httpd.conf

file in Universal Print Server is updated. [CVADHELP-21139]

It's a normal print server because customer use HP Generic printer driver.

Please upgrade and check then again.

Customer is not able to upgrade his farm and would not upgrade because farm will be decomissionned during this year 😞

Then my suggestion would be: • Install HP Generic driver on your image • Distribute printers via GPP

why not just add an extra printer at the end and cal it a day

For now and for test with users, customer will add a extra 5th printer which is not needed by users to show if the 4th needed printer is mapped :)
