05/21/2024, 10:09 AMHello, we have an issue after VDA uninstalling, vda cleanup and VDA reinstalling with WEM (uninstalled and reinstalled in the same version 2206) and UPM parameters. When users connects, the profile management creates a folder called : #samAccountName# altough the name of user like on this screen. Someone else had this problem ? Thanks in advance. (We do all theses actions because we are migrating from onprem to Citrix Cloud. So after migration we will use the apptask for wem agent upgrade).

05/21/2024, 11:18 AMMy colleague who works on this case send me back says that when he replace #samaccountname# with %username% it's working, profiles are created with usernames. Very strange issue...

05/21/2024, 11:20 AM#SAMAccountName# works fine using native Citrix policies rather than WEM. Have you tried it outside of WEM and just using the Citrix policies? It may be a bug...

05/21/2024, 11:23 AMI'm agree with you đŸ™‚ Thank you for your time and your answers đŸ™‚ what is strange is that our environnement has more that 150 VDA configured with WEM 2206 (multi VDA versions 1912, 2203) and we had this problem only on two VDA for now. We upgraded with uninstall, vda cleanup and reinstall more than 30 VDA to migrate to citrix cloud and no problems..

06/04/2024, 7:11 AMHello, Citrix support ask us to upgrade VDA to 2402. This was done yesterday. We always upgraded WEM Agent to 2406 based on Citrix Cloud. We always experienced the same issue..... On our profile server, when a new user launched a session, a directory called #samaccountname# is create instead of au the username (when is upm config we use #samaccountname# but the user is created with his username when we change with %username% in upm configuration). On our redirected folder server, a folder is created with the SID of the user instead of username. We don't know what happen... VDA OS is Windows 2019. Someone had this issue ? Thanks in advanced.

07/02/2024, 7:38 PMCitrix support does not found the issue.. we have same issue on 2 different VDA .. very strange.. on the second vda problem occurs after uninstalling VDA 1912Cu1, uninstall wem 2206, vda cleanup and after reboot, installing VDA2203CU4u1, reinstall wem agent 2206, reset profile management in wem on the vda that reg are populated for upm config. When we open a session, profile is created with #samaccountname# value although the username. Sometimes, on redirection folders we have a repository with user SID as name although username… :( someone had theses problems ? thanks

07/03/2024, 8:41 AMOnPrem we are on WEM 2206. The goal is to migrate customer on Citrix Cloud but before we migrate, we will update VDA version to 2203CU4u1. After migrating, we update WEM Agent to 2406 and we use WEM Service Web console but legacy WEM Service console too because USV Settings is only available in legacy console wem service.

07/03/2024, 10:31 AMYou can use both the web console and the legacy console simultaneously for different functionalities. WEM web console for UPM supports many new features like templates, feature grouping(container-base, file-base), health check etc.
