Hi all, I have a (simple?) question on netscaler functionality... I want to use our netscalers as a reverse proxy for our public facing webservers (several different applications). What is the best approach to this? Do I need to create a virtual server for each internal webserver / service to just "forward" the traffic? Or do I put them behind a content switching server? Ideally I would like to use host headers to seperate traffice and use only one virtual server instead of creating a new load balancing vserver for each webserver / service? Do I need the SNI feature for that? Thanks

Hey Klaus, a content switch is your friend if you want to do it via the host header or host name, you still need to create a virtual server for each webserver but you make them non-addressable (no ip) during creation and allow access through the content switch. You'll need to enable SNI if you want to support multiple SSL certificates or you can't do it all with a wildcard cert.

Hi Leee, I'll give it a try, thank you ! 🙌
