MCS on GCP Hello, I hava a customer that use MCS on GCP. The GCP environment is spread across different regions and, because of that, we cannot see the master on the other region when we update (or create the catalog). We need to create a new VM and to restore the snap. Is there any other solution ? I spoke about Image Service Portability but the customer want, before, to know if there is not a simpler way.

Hi @Julien Destombes There does not seem to be capability in GCP to share image across region, there is capability to share across projects (within same region). We did send question to GCP partner and ask if they have plan to support it

Hi Yuhua, Thanks for your answer. I can publish an image to different region with Powershell command. The option is not available in Web Studio GUI. The information was given to me by Jing Song Huang. Do you have any idea on the integration of this option in the Web Studio GUI ?

Yes, @Jing Song Huang is the PM for GCP. I just looked up studio ticket, it is in progress, should be out in next couple of months

@Julien Destombes we are working on enabling multi-regional GCP OS image as the base image input in Web Studio GUI. Enabling multi-region snapshot as muster input is also in the plan.
