If there are any space\rocket fans out there.... this is the sonic boom from the return booster from 15 miles south of the launch pad of the NASA's SpaceX 30th Commercial Resupply Services Launch as seen/heard from my backyard in Cocoa Beach, FL. My dog is never amused!

I'm in Orlando, which is far enough to not hear that (I think?) but seeing launches, even from here, never ceases to impress. Sometimes with night launches, I don't pay attention to the launch schedule and sitting on my sofa and suddenly I see an orange glow on the horizon outside and a small dot escaping from the glow...

@Joel - ControlUp I am close enough it shakes my house but like you, I tend to find out as it's happening! (especially at 3 AM) Unless it's a Falcon Heavy or I have guests in from out of town who have never seen one, then will check the schedule. Keeps life interesting!

Lucky. I want to get to TX this year to catch a superheavy launch.

If you have visibility to the launches, I may have to rent a spot on your lawn to throw up a tent to watch those as well. I was too little to watch the old Saturn V launches. And the space shuttle was always kind of meh for me. But these heavy lifters look amazing.

@Jeff Riechers there is a Delta Heavy @ 13:40 on Thursday. I have not followed to know the go for launch percentage. I live across the street from Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach for reference. Absolutely welcome!
