In case you're running SAP GUI (8.x) with App Control (WDAC), Dynamic Code Security causes some issues. Disabling that feature in App Control will resolve this, but it lowers your security posture. Either way, humanity looses SAP trace files will indicate the following: • Repeated Failed to delete connection (rc=7) errors • Monitor stuck in “ChangeRunningState()” • We have detected a potential security issue related to the COM object. CodeIntegrity event log will have these events: • Code Integrity determined that \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPGUI\saplogon.exe is trying to load In_Memory_PE_File which failed the dynamic code trust verification with error code of 0xC0E90002. • Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPGUI\saplogon.exe) attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Users\<username>\Temp\2c91a830aac54d0168042dc760d84e36\zx_25b324c4b38c43ae8c93df1acb35ff03.dll that did not meet the Enterprise signing level requirements. • Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPGUI\saplogon.exe) attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Users\<username>\Temp\2c91a830aac54d0168042dc760d84e36\zx_25b324c4b38c43ae8c93df1acb35ff03.dll that did not meet the Enterprise signing level requirements or violated code integrity policy (Policy ID:{49d46d32-f1ea-4bf4-9eeb-05e7909370e0}).
