I haven't been following the entire thread, but something I see is that you have this policy BELOW the unfiltered policy. The unfiltered policy sets "Client USB device rediection" as Prohibited. I would suggest moving this policy to #1, and making sure you have "Client USB device redirection" set to Enabled
you always want the unfiltered policy to be the last policy, and your more specific policies above

OK done. Now the "unfiltered" policy is last while the rest are first. Im gonna try and see if it makes a difference...

Do you have "Client USB device redirection" set to Enabled in your SD policy?
b
Confirmed. Same behavior

Well, hoping it was something easy like that, sorry. Some of those USB devices are just tough to get working. Escalate your case. If that support engineer didn't even know to put your policy above the unfiltered policy... ugh

Lets see if Joe Miller has something else

So, on my notes, I have this. I recall having this issue, and I added it on the location machine, the PID/VID. Then I made sure USB devices "when the session starts, connect device Automatically. Actually, the guy who knows about this USB stuff big time is @Ray Davis. (Hopefully he doesn't mind me pinging him here) He had a massive blog on this stuff. This is what he gave me a while back. We had the same issues with scanners, and had to use the generic pass through as the Optimize channel would not work.

I will have to read this later on and catch up. Sorry guys
b
I do have the PID and VID added in the rules (as shown in the screenshot). As far as "when the session starts, connect device Automatically." I already have that set on my PC where the Citrix Workspace is installed (in the registry)
j
Okay, my apologies then.
b
Thank you for your help before hand. Im also going to go as my hour is up and I dont get paid extra ๐Ÿ™‚ Will try to read tommorow and hope I can get some feedback from Citrix and Wacom as I have double support cases open with both of them
j
Np, keep ups posted please
