Sounds like they are doing a Broadcom/VMware and this is just going to jack up prices adding features people don't use.

Alright, before I open a channel to my partner, where can I find a matrix of Universal HMC vs Platform vs Private cloud and what the associated "old names" were, if it's a TTU or straight conversion, etc etc etc? FWIW we are/were currently "Universal Premium" as of last week.

Yea, we have all the insight into this stuff. uberAgent piece is cool and all, but I will only be able to discuss with Platform license candidates (including those that do the kickstarter SKU) as same qualifications for either. Platform has the security goodies and uberAgent now. . Universal HMC won't have it - price uplifts to Universals HMC are based on last price paid and are favorable. I have no idea yet on platform as that is negotiated pricing/not set price. Thx

You are still Universal Premium

As long as you need >250 licenses, you are probably ok.

The hybrid license get's you everything. And 1000GB throughput of any number of NetScalers.

@dready I think he is saying 'everything' from standpoint of NetScaler features there. Not the other extras - e.g. Universal HMC doesn't include SPA, Analytics, WEM for physical endpoints and uberAgent as examples.

I'm not losing SPA on-prem though am I Ozzy?

@Jon Bucud for the term of what you got, you continue to have what you have there. Next renewal though, you go to Universal HMC for example and there anything with ZTNA/SPA as far as i know is not there. I only have seen anything with any of the SPA type features in the Platform license myself.

I need to get clarification for sure. It will cover your NetScaler needs. As far as ZTNA/SPA I am unsure, but I thought it was going to be a part of it for ease of pricing.

I have an unofficial answer that WEM will be included, but not SPA/ZTNA. 😞

correct. WEM is included but not WEM for all physical endpoints as the extended play past the VDA side that used to be somewhat of a premium feature if you had extra licenses

ugh, SPA and SPA on-prem are no longer broken out as two separate entitlements is a buzz kill.
