Hi Everyone, hope everyone is having a nice day. What can cause Interactive session during the logon process to be high? Could having folder redirection and FSLogix profile server on-prem while the VDA is in the cloud cause this issue? it seems to be high at shell, 339 ms?

From my experience, this can be many things like Login scripts, user-related GPP, folder redirection at times, and many keys in the active setup registry. @James Rankin has great stuff on this as well.
j
It could also be Ivanti, as a lot of Ivanti stuff is done after "login" has completed and therefore happens in "interactive session". Pay particular attention to the Desktop Created trigger and any post-logon triggers

this client is not using ivanti

Fair enough, I just based that comment on your post history 🙂

What tools do you have to help break down the login?
n
@Ray Davis , maybe its the fact that the folder redirection server is on-prem and the VDA is in the cloud.
j
Oof, that sounds awful

@newbie1998 yea man, that is no good to be honest. Do what James said and I can bet it will be so much better. Also, make sure they have AD sites and Services updated to the new Subnet in Azure too. Not that it will help you on Folder Redirection in your case. But just another tip.

so the disk que of the fslogix and folder redirection servers are like at 15....:/
