Does new teams work for you in 2019? We cant get it to launch with tripple checking reqs. Are you using FSlogix?

What version of the old Teams client are you using? Since I upgraded to 1.6.00.3357 I see the toggle, however I cant get the new Teams client to launch...

We installed the latest version 1.6.00.33567

how to tell if new Teams is optimized? Is it the same as before?

When you open the settings in the new client, click on "About Teams" to see the status of the optimization

@stormlight a bit late to this but did you ever get it to launch for you in 2019? I'm doing some testing myself and its also not launching for my test user

I've had nothing but instability from New Teams in 2019. Worked best when it was installed alone without the latest FsLogix preview to support it AND the classic Teams client removed. With Preview FsL, I often find it won't start correctly, or at all... When working, it did seem to HDX optimize fine for Citrix. Outlook presence has NOT been working, despite me leaving old Teams client on in some instances and also fiddling with IMProvider reg entries... Anyone have luck with this?

I am having issues with it launching as well. I narrowed it down to what appears to be a permission issue here "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MSTeams_23320.3021.2567.4799_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe" Read that others have this issues as well." If I get the test user rights, then open the newteams.exe it works. But that is not ideal. This is on Windows 10 too. Sorta a pain right now. But I am testing with CPM containers.
