nope, continous...anytime the image is updated in the primary region the changes need to be replicated over to the secondary region. These master images will be used to build MCS n-p and p catalogs. I would check into Azure Compute Gallery, which used to be called Share Image Gallery. Its one of the options in your link.

Just an option. ACG integration with Citrix might be better now, haven’t tested in a while. The problem with ACG to date was sourcing the image from an existing ACG resulted in very lengthy processes

We're investigating the same right now. Currently, I wrote a PS script to copy snapshots and image templates to all subs, but it's a manual process that I'd like to avoid. Hoping that ACG works as intended, because it'll save us a boatload of time.
