We do CPU and Memory only. CPU Optimization helps keep users from overloading the server with a single process more often than not. There are times things happen and the servers just can't quite keep up. It's just basically changing the Priority of the processes so everybody can remain working while the high CPU process chugs along. Memory optimization doesn't appear to do as much for us usually, but we can tell when it's not working that memory utilization will be higher. We try to get the most from the servers, so for most clients, we notice when WEM stops functioning and there are memory issues. That's all we use WEM for in our environment at this time as well.

there are some enhancement for CPU spike protection in June. That gives you more granular control. Thanks! https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/workspace-environment-management/service/whats-new#enhancements-to-cpu-spike-protection

Memory management is just offloading the RAM to disk, so I could go either way with that. Our hosts have plenty of both, so I'm not sure I'd see a benefit to enabling it.

We never use memory optimization, it just fills up the page file. This can have a negative impact on your storage. If you don’t have enough memory configured for your machines it can help, but I would never activate it just to have another optimization option enabled. Buy more RAM if you have a memory problem 😁

^Yep.
