Never actually compared them side by side to be honest.

I've found Analytics to be hit and miss with consistently recording data. Presents a few handy pieces of information but it doesn't look very polished yet, only has a few features so I don't think it's very good value for money. ControlUp is awesome and does a -lot- so that tends to be my preference.

ControlUp gives a lot more than viz. It's a great admin empowerment tool with the script library/Automated Actions as well. I can't speak to Analytics unfortunately, as we've never had entitlement to/owned it.

I did a comparison a few years ago. ControlUP is way better. In my current position, we got Analytics, it's years from what ControlUP does.
