I dont think sccm has limits like that in either case you are just using the vns not the vcenter apis

That was my line of thinking. I think perhaps some thought that reporting the status back to the hypervisor would be an issue, but I think that was a reach.
I still don't get the Azure limitation. I swear I read something about a 100 limit, but for the life of me cannot find it now.

Maybe API limits in Azure? But I would think they'd be in the same boat, with SCCM handling things. I know we ran into an issue with Azure during our migration to Citrix Cloud. That's where the worry stems from.

I thought the hypervisor connection in Studio had default limits

You can set limits on the hosting connections, but I don't think it matters for this since we're not actually using Studio to send anything to the VDAs.
