Is it just a case of creating a Vmware template from the master VM then adding x amount of VMs from the template then adding to the new catalog? Cheers
j
That should be it, add to the delivery group once your new machine catalog is created.

Thanks @jvitech. Is there a way/script to provision multiple VMs in VMware? I'll need around 70 machines from the template in the catalog. I have a couple working now but I had to manually name/sysprep etc. I have BIS-F on the master image and its domain joined. Wondering If I should trigger sysprep on the sealing process to simply that piece, cheers

You can also use MCS full clones. Should be in Studio for Single Session OS, Multi Session needs PoSh: https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX277484/creating-full-clones-of-server-os-in-mcs

You make your life difficult John. As Dennis mentioned why not using MCS to provision your VM rather than doing it old school (create VM, sysprep, etc.)? I do it this way using diff disk to save space for 500 persistent VMs. I use XenServer but it doesn't matter.

Thanks lads, I was overthinking it. Chatted to @James Kindon earlier and he advised that, all good now. Cheers gents 🙂
Ive configured the Server 2022 machines with the vda workstation installer with /quiet /servervdi. All looking good.
