Normally the UX teams love this, as if they are best Friends of these non existing people that they can make up. I hate to waste the time, and pick real people in the company, change their name and the reaction of the UX guys is the “woaw you really create inspirational and interesting personas. That shows how far away they are from reality and from their own colleagues 🤣 . I then let them store them in Figma and re-use most of it for the next time

it's a pain in the ass. Build personas based on specific requirements (does user need GPU? Single session? Admin access?) rather than trying to build them out based on apps or bunches of apps. Simply create application groups for each app and add users to those individually or nested instead. We had a project that ran and created 392 different personas for 3000 users. Absolutely ridiculous waste of time
