Try setting the "Use Video Codec Compression to "For the entire screen" See if that helps. Also check to make sure your windows display scaling matches on both screens, assuming that is two screen in the screenshot.

Thanks Ray, i'll check that out! so far i'm only testing in a single HTML5 setup
sweet that seems to be doing the trick! thanks dude!
r
@Andrew Gresbach What is your HTML5 Workspace App version? Assuming it is not DaaS but local Storefront.. I would not recommend to keep the "For the Entire Screen" option
a
i was going to ask about that......if i SHOULD use it or not given it says it uses more server side resources. i'm trying to find what version of HTML5 we have in SF right now. how can i find that quickly?
r
There should be a toolbar at the top, if you click the 3 dots and click on About you should see the version
a
ahh thanks! i was overthinking it and thought i had to check on SF
our DDC environment is 2203 but SF is stuck on 1912 (errors if we try and upgrade......have it on my list to open a ticket on which i'm dreading)
r
Ah, your Workspace App for HTML5 is VERY outdated
a
are we able to update JUST that in SF or is that all bundled w/ SF now?
r
No it's a separate package
So you can just install it on your current SF servers
a
oh nice! so if our SF is still 1912 cu1, can we update just the html5 to latest?
r
If Rody says not to use For Entire screen, I would follow his advice over mine. He knows the graphic stuff like the back of his hand.
r
Ha thanks Ray. @Andrew Gresbach I work for Citrix Engineering

nice! if its supported to go to latest html5 on our slightly older SF setup i'll definitely try that first!
a
awesome thanks for the help guys! i'll give that upgrade a try . so that graphics policy we had not configured. is there a recommended setting you would say? i suppose depends on the environment
r
What is your usecase? For most usecases default policies are the go-to solution
a
we have our clients (windows 10 laptops, clients) using the full workspace app but html5 as fall back so not a ton in use for html5
we allow for personal devices so some could be using hmtl5 as well
r
What kind of workload are they running inside the session?
a
we're an insurance company so for the most part browser based programs, Office 365, some local apps and we do have about 50-70 developers doing visual studio 'ish type work
r
Then definitely our default policy set!
a
HTML5 upgrade looks like it did the trick! thank you for your help!
