The only time I needed to do this, I treated it the same as a reverse proxy. Created a VIP the internal client can access, created a service group using the target servers.

I think you should be able to achieve that "point solution" just with a load balancer as a reverse proxy

Ofc if you need it for other stuff and have platinum licensing SSL Forward proxy is easy to set up

Thank you peoples. This is great.  I had thought about both methods, and was second guessing myself on each one.  I will try the forward proxy first, and then the lb vs if needed.  This great to know for the future.
