Slowly migrating cvad servers from on prem to azure. Need to have a user fail over to on prem or azure as needed during testing implemting ect

yes, same os. I think the idea is that we expect allot of bouncing back and forth and we want the users profile (fslogix) be up to date.

Would users notice though? Assuming you might have user data elsewhere, browser sync, M365 Apps, OneDrive etc. or similar, most of those will handle sync for you with less fuss.

You can do what you are asking, just reverse the CC locations per VDA (make the azure ones look local to Azure first, and the on-prem ones look local first). Be warned though, this will a lot of traffic across your link, make sure the link is OK. You will also have logon/logoff experience impacted if there is delays to either location, but technically it works fine

Also, pre-seed the Azure location so its not trying to do it live. Bvckup is your friend for doing this and its cheap.
