Same setup currently in production, works great (upgraded from 2105, using CloudCache).

Nice! Upgraded mostly from 2201 HF2, various customers on a NetApp CIFS vServer or single Profile Share. Not upgraded any customer on a SOFS Share. Not using CC at any customer.

Same setup here too. No CC either. Would be nice if it fixed our CC issues but I'm not really motivated to test again lol.

I have all set but using disk compaction. All is good with the client. No CC

It is running without issue in our environment. Also with disk compaction turn off, but I plan to give it a test next week on our delivery group

@Ray Davis: does disk compaction has a high impact on your logoff time? i need to upgrade FSLogix this week because i urgently need this feature for a azure customer

@Dominik We are still doing our initial tests on it, so I cannot say if the times will stick once it has been enabled on all our delivery groups. At the moment it adds 10-15 seconds to a users log off time. If their profile needs to be shrunk and this is with users whos profiles a near the maximum size set (40 GB).

If you profiles are large and much whitespace is needed to compact. Then, yes it could delay logout times. But it will level out in time. I use the Script method to get it under control first. Then come back and use FSLogix to maintain it. That is me and my choice.

I'm finding that a handful of profiles are encountering a 3 minute semaphore time using FSLogix to compact. We run the script on the weekends, and left the FSLogix compact in place. The script does not encounter this timeout, have a ticket open with MS.

Might just be working as intended as far as Microsoft is concern. If you look under concept the maximum run time is 5 minutes, with an average of 20-30 seconds. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fslogix/concepts-vhd-disk-compaction But if you hear otherwise from them, please let us know.

There is a good solution to speeding this up and that's to use REFS where it's possible. Disk compaction is lightening fast on that FS.
