Nope, still broken. Use UPM container instead, that manages it OK.

Or use CPM with FSLogix…
j
@Jarian Gibson do you mean the CPM integration for managing sessions? Or do you mean using CPM for some filesystem settings and then FSLogix for the rest? I never managed to get CPM and FSLogix to work together - they started to fight over who got to manage the profile. The only way for them to work together AFAIK is the optional way to let CPM manage the secondary sessions when FSLogix can't do it
j
You could try it but might step on each other. Thinking it would work similar to multi session write back with CPM for FSLogix…
j
Yeah I think they might step on each other. In my testing the only way to get FSLogix with a sprinkling of file-based is to use UE-V or even the CPM UE-V integration
But feel free to try 🙂

I’m trying to think what I’ve seen when I tested in the lab. Need to fire it back up again.
j
Would love to see it work, sprinkling a few bits of CPM over the top of FSLogix would solve a lot of issues for me (cross-OS stuff mainly)

We have customers doing CPM (Profile) /W FSLogix for Office container for outlook cache/Onedrive. Haven’t run into any issues with this configuration in a long time, there was a period of time where it had interop issues. We have some of our team testing CPM containers as a replacement, I haven’t done any testing with it
To the original question though, would have to go CPM route to solve for the processing challenge, my reply was in reference to interop /w CPM and Fslogix

Yeah Office container should work OK, I was more interested in being able to use the full container and then just use UPM to roam specific app settings to other OSes.

@Shane Kleinert I’m trying to setup this scenario. Would be interested to hear what cpm exclusions you have in place for the office apps and how you have FSL configured.
