I did this all the time. Running older versions of targets on newer PVS. As long as the tftp/bdm/boot file (or DNS name to the PVS servers) doesn't change you'll be ok.
Also, the doc @Jarian Gibson sent you last week stated 7.15 was compatible I believe.

ok, he sent me this https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/provisioning/2203-ltsr/upgrade.html but they only mentions backwards compatibility with licensing
So i am upgrading my client this week to PVS 2203 CU2 before they migrate to the cloud. So i'll be pointing them to a new license server that has the "Hypervisor and PVS for Apps and Desktops". They should still be able to connect to their on-premise environment, right? I won't be migrating that until a few weeks.
