_Citrixisawesome Does something have a name that begins with an underscore?
n
nope
actually one delivery group does but 17 are failing
so it can't be the _ causing all 17 to fail
w
It was a SWAG
n
what's that mean?

n
lol
gotcha
so i removed that but still got the same errors on the rest
it says machine not found
i bet it says machine not found b/c the catalog
the catalogs are empty
ok, i think i am having this issue because the host connection is not on the cloud site...the catalogs are empty because of that too...totally make sense. i couldn't get the host connection migrated over. if i fix that then everything will work.
c
With the Citrix automated config took you have dependencies eg a catalog won't create if a hosting connection isn't created. Check the fixups log file should give you more info
n
it is something with the hosting configuration...it had to do with the zones. I fixed that but still having issues.
i get this error Add component Failed for Host Connection - Testvcenter: {"message":"Cannot connect to the VCenter server due to a certificate error. Make sure that the appropriate certificates are installed on the VCenter server, and install the appropriate certificates on every controller in the site.
the certs on the controllers are fine
so i don't know what the issue is.
c
There is a yaml file cvadactsecurity I think it's called without looking with your hypervisor creds in make sure that is correct
n
yup, those are correct. i was able to create new connections w/o any issues
hey everyone, i was able to resolve the issue after changing the resource names in Citrix Cloud to match the on-prem zone names...i used the zonemapping file to do that. it wouldnt work unless i did that. After i made that change everything worked.
so odd.
oh and i re-installed the certificates on the connectors as well.
