For WEM service I think you coudl do something wiht API's https://developer.cloud.com/citrixworkspace/workspace-environment-management/docs/what's-new But I know you use onprem so I think you are stuck with sql. What if you got an export of the database to put in your own just to query against.

I think it would take an act of god to get that export, so it sounds like I'm SOL. 😄

There is a backup functionality in wem which you can do for config sets and it creates a set of json and xml files. Not sure how easy it would be to use that for comparison. Doesn't seem easy.

Yeah, that was my first thought, but even making the format more readable doesn't help. Still way quicker to just do it manually. It's not a huge deal, and it'd be great if Citrix created a comparison tool/option in the GUI, hint hint...

They are all xml files, you can compare each one in NotePad++ with the Compare add on added

That's unrealistic, IMO. The order of actions, etc. is listed by creation date, so most entries don't line up at all. Using KDiff, 85% of the page shows red for changes. It's all good, I can definitely get what I need to get done quicker by just having two consoles open.
