Are your VLAN (and management VLAN) assigned to the right interfaces? Have the IP addresses also been bound to the VLAN? Are you sure your routes are correct (compared to prod). And maybe most important, are trying to access the new NS through the samen network as you try to access PROD?

Why would you have a default gateway that's not in the same network as the interface? 10.1.30.10 255.255.255.0 10.1.25.1
10.1.25.1 is not in the same network as 10.1.30.x, thus will not work.
j
@Ryan Gallier because the SDX puts the default gateway to the management network by default. So once other networks have been configured, you change the default gateway to the actual network you want your traffic to go through.
You don’t want all your traffic to be going through the management network :-)

@Jan Tytgat The only thing that is different is the route. Prod = 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.25.1 New = 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.30.1 When I delete the 10.1.30.1 route and add a 10.1.25.1 route it breaks and I can't connect back (only via SDX console) I can not figure out why. I am using the same machine to access both.

Do you have vlan filtering enabled on the SDX? It feels like a vlan is missing on the data interface
c
One thing I forgot to mention is that the Prod and the New are using the same LCAP. I looked for the VLAN filtering, I think it is enabled on all the interfaces.
j
In that case make sure the vlan of the network is listed on the data interface. Given that prod works on the same LACP interface, the issue must lie in the VPX configuration.
c
Do you mean here?
j
That’s location one, I guess you should have the Tagged checkbox enabled. The other location is in the vpx configuration on the SDX
Compare that with the production instance. I guess your vlan 25 should be there at least
c
This is the Prod
The only difference I can see between the two is that Prod has the Gateway at 10.1.25.1 in the SDX settings and New can't without breaking.
j
So on prod vlan 25 is also untagged in the vpx?
c
Yes sir.
j
Switch to the IP bindings view, do you have a SNIP or VIP bound to vlan 25 as well?
That’s the new instance?
c
Prod
j
Check the new one
c
No VIPs here yet.
j
Do you have a snip in management as well? Is it bound to the management vlan?
c
Prod
New
I don't think it matters. But prod is on 12.1 New is on 13.1
