Open Teams settings > Privacy -> Manage API to get the API key. drop that in the elgato app when creating a button
m
Thanks Dennis, thats what I did back in the days with v1 but I had no setting "Manage API" in my Teams client anymore. I realised that I have to update Teams 😄 With Teams client v1.6.00.4772 the "Manage API" is there! Thanks.

try a reboot, my buttons aren't working after a reboot, I had to generate and apply a new API key again
m
Good point, was in a meeting and tried nut nothing worked... Will reboot later. 🙂 Thanks again
m
I had to try a couple of times to get the API key to come back with a tick mark in the stream deck software, but then it worked

Let’s say this is 1.2 beta, in a few updates it’ll all be ok 😜

I’m on macOS, so may be a bit different. My buttons still aren’t working but I haven’t rebooted yet
m
so am I, I had to make sure this had a tick before it would work:
check there’s no spaces or anything when you paste it in
a
I have a tick and no spaces
m
not sure then, that’s what it was for me, once I got the tick it worked
a
I got this working now after generating a new API token
