sudden strange issue. Outlook tells me "dont have access to the folder" fslogix profile is attached fine. no config changes from GPO/fslogix wise. I added WEM and enabled the basic CPU management and memory. I had to close Teams and Outlook then outlook started working. No auth prompts. This happened a couple of days ago and thought nothing of it but happened again and not sure where to start. Server 2019 latest updates CVAD 2209 Fslogix 2.9.8228.50276

Hi. Have any of you guys been able to disable "Type to Search" in the startmenu? Not just web search, but completely disabled. I've been able to disable it, through software restriction of Cortana or a startup script which stops SearchUI process and renames SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy. But that leaves the start menu greyed out, when pressing Start the first time. Afterwards it works normally.

I mean any automation.. Most places I've been will usually have sealing scripts for images (or I brought my own). I've always either seen or created scripts to install apps when possible to guarantee it could be reproduced consistently etc. She doesn't want any of that, etc. It's all done by hand with mediocre at best documentation. 😕

I do recommend BIS-F for sealing if you don't already use it.

I'll definitely change my ngen updates :-). Thank you. She's due to retire later this year, so I had already planned to bring in BIS-F.

In case of Citrix user or device, if user logs off or there has been a disconnected session on a machine for 90 days, user License will get released automatically.. Same applies to Citrix Cloud as well right

Has anyone else noticed an uptick in Citrix Print Manager Services dying lately on their CVAD boxes? We've seen numerous cases of this across our multi-tenant CVA server farm over the past few weeks and have yet to find a reason why.

There's no good way to answer that. Other major issues are how technical the users are, how much they like to dig into things they shouldn't, how locked down the profiles & policies are, etc. It's going to be unique to every environment.
