I have a user asking me why at times the VDI desktop seems slower. Would you agree this is why lol 🙂

Hi , has anyone seen Teams redirection cut off and drop a call, when the desktop locks / screensaver kicks in? This is Citrix / Windows 10 VDI 1912. Not really sure which channel to post this but we are delivering a CVAD Published Desktop with NVidia Tesla T4 cards using Hyper-V DDA for a CAD firm. overall its been ok, but randomly we get errors in the NVidia drivers and the GPU essentially disappears from the guest or just fails to start so it fails back to the standard display adapter. I am working with NVidia support on some of this related to drivers, etc, but wondered if anyone could help me with MIMO sizing? My current VM specs are 16 vCPU with 128GB RAM using XenApp and the MIMO is set to low 3GB and high 3GB. I have no idea on this other than what Microsoft documentation stated, but I am seeing different configurations around there. Anyone have a suggestion of what I should set that as at the Hyper-V VM level?

use a tool called PAL it graphs all your perfmon .blg files and shows the thresholds for each

Anyone have any thoughts on a migration scenario when Citrix Cloud site aggregation is setup? Client has old XA6.5 farms and new Citrix Cloud farm accessed via gateway service. Three domains on prem and new domain to migrate to. Here's the issue as I see it, I can't hide apps using brokeraccesspolicy as that doesn't exist in xa6.5. I can't hide the apps in SF as that is obv controlled by citrix, and finally the old and new users have sid history set, so that new and old accounts have access to same new and old resources, so can't just remove users from old citrix group. As far as I can tell, the only route I have is to fully migrate each app and all the users connected to that app and then delete the old app from the old farm, unless I am missing some trick?
