Try taking a look at Dan Poynter's books and ePub prices on his Parapublishing.com website to get an idea of what his prices are like. His ebooks of his manuals are of longer lengths and prices are mostly in the $7-8 range and a few little more. You can look at one of his sales pages and ebook prices here: http://parapublishing.com/sites/para/information/produce.cfm Also Kindle books on Amazon tend to do well when they stay below $9.99. That is why Amazon gives a 70% royalty because of people's apt-to-buy tendencies when prices are not too high. On Amazon, if you price your digital book above that then you receive 30% in royalty payments. Those are some good things to consider even if you're looking at selling your ebook through your website alone (or at first).
