@Tim: I listened to these tips about packing and shipping. It mainly covers packing. Get at least 2 (eventually 3 or more) "tape guns," bulk "packing tape," bulk "bubble wrap," butcher paper, craft paper, good scissors (multiple and a Fiskars type that can separate into a knife-like tool if possible), at a minimum. Sometimes they buy large boxes at Walmart. They keep left over materials and boxes. They do a "floating" method for delicate items (sometimes big like a vintage typewriter). Suzanne Wells (ebay author) (I'm a member of her free ebay Facebook group) interviews ebay Resale Millionaire Linda Lightman (store "Linda's Stuff") and gives great ebay Consignment Info in this video. 1) Linda's Stuff starts out as an auction and then moves to Buy it Now if it doesn't sell 2) Linda's Stuff and Suzanne Wells DOES NOT USE EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING option since they can give a better shipping deal to the customer 3) I know from other interviews of Linda that she emphasizes SHIPPING IMMEDIATELY AND QUICKLY

Suzanne Wells also promotes her yearly !$50 access to be on the Consignment List (which I've been wanting to get and told you about) because we also get a draft of a contract she uses for consignment along with email access to her. She mentions it in the same video above. ⭐ I love the stats too she gives which are from ebay about how many sellers there are and people in the world. She gives some other stories of her clients and how they've been getting their own clients and things to sell as well as her own fee that she tells clients.

During my visit, we discussed the risks of selling high-end clothing on eBay with the VERO program and making sure anything designer is authenticated. Just a note for new sellers, don't start off selling only high-end designer names. Introduce them slowly so that you don't trigger eBay to more closely inspect your account.
