I think the block hasnt it´s own form request class, at the moment i have something like this in the FormRequest of the Page that owns the block editor

'blocks..blocks.stickyNotesContent..content.title' => 'required', 'blocks..blocks.stickyNotesContent..content.title.*' => 'required|max:100',

but it seems wrong (complicated) to me

sure, in your pages formRequest,

'blocks' => 'validBlocks'

, then for each block where you want to add validation rules, add them in your twill configuration file, under

block_editor.blocks.blockName.rules

. from there you setup rules directly on what is in the block. You're still going to have to do nested validation for the repeater fields.

never tried this but i assume it could work. I meant inside of the rules in the config file for the block that hosts that repeater, you're going to need to target the repeaters with the * approach. It's a good idea to try to do it like you said, let me know how that goes.

Hello, I'm trying to populate a select fromField with data from a array. I got it working on a form but I need the data in a block and in a repeater. How can I add an array of data to a select field in a block or repeater?

Hi - I have created a module which wasn't specified to use slugs, and clicking the Edit icon next to the title also shows an editable Permalink field, which doesn't seem to update after a save. is this field used for anything in this case? i'd expect just to see an editable Title field in here unless there is some use for it i have missed in a module without slugs.

I'm a little confused - the

updateBrowser

method in the HandleBrowsers behaviour appears to handle BelongsTo relationships, but not the inverse HasMany relationship

I've got the BelongsTo relationship working by using the

$browsers

property on the repository, but for the inverse HasMany relationship that doesn't work, and when I try using

updateBrowser

it complains that there is no

sync

method on the HasMany relationship. Is there a way to do this?

I've noticed that Repeaters do handle HasMany - do I need to use one of those? It's just I'd like to be able to select from pre-added options rather than created on the fly. Perhaps i'm a bit confused about the use cases 😆
