I think this bug was never addressed before, i couldn't find anything in github issues, discussions or pr. However i think i found why the component is behaving this way

Repeater.vue

the

opened

state is applied in a general way and not in each block

and

addBlock

method set

opened

to true then all the repeaters expands

makes sense. This commit did change some of this https://github.com/area17/twill/commit/bfe46f588b677f9b3235c1aed6574250d860c790

this solves the collapse all - expand all button

mmmmh, i think i solved the bug

what i did was remove

this.opened = true

from addBlock method

and i was having the same bug when i click the expand icon (the single one, no expand all)

so in BlockEditorItem.vue i removed

this.$emit('expand', this.visible)

because that event was setting

opened

to true

(Also in Repeater.vue i remove

@expand="setOpened"

in

<a17-blockeditor-item/>

and

setOpened

method since it is not being used when deleting

this.$emit('expand', this.visible)

from BlockEditorItem.vue)

Hello, i am new into twill and want to ask question. I'm building a module using block editor with a repeater field, i am wondering how to render the child items in preview block so it will render inside of the container not after/outside the container. I want to do something like this :

I've been trying to figure out by reading the docs like using

renderBlocks()

inside the

container.blade.php

but can't achieve what i want to do, is there any way to do that or i am missing something ?
