which image rendering service are you using?

Hi @ifox,yes we have done that, for the rendering we will use glide. Also had a struggle using two dbs but they are happy with just one DB connection for the use purposes

Hey @User just one more, I renamed a controller to Fuse as when I use twill:module Fuse it kept dropping the e and thus had FusController, but now I get Target class does not exist, where does this update?

I had an idea , what if I make the gallery block (for the gallery page) a repeater ?

so i don't have to define how much will be the maximum number of images in the media formfield

I can also make it dynamic for example if you want to upload a file, image or something embedded (youtube, vimeo, etc.)

What do you guys think?

for sure, repeaters for more complex composition of fields that you need with a medias field can be great. you can use repeaters inside blocks too. You're free to create the model fields/blocks/repeaters structures you need to make sense against the frontend you're building on top of the content

Hey folks! I'm wondering if there is a more detailed step by step guide on how to create custom form fields somewhere. I have a pretty simple field I need to make, but I'm not finding much detail on the Vue stuff that needs to be created

Really just need a custom unpacked select, everything I'm finding via Google is kind of vague on the requirements and what they entail. Thanks!

Trying to do something simple like this, but definitely not going to work with the radio or unpacked select as they currently exist

Hello, I'm new to twill and try to understand basic concepts like blocks. I'm trying to control the block preview templates. Created the necessary files so I can {{dump($block)}} and I can see the dump on the right panel. Now I'm trying to display an image type block, I don't know how to reach the image url here :

@User if it's a single image you would call

$block->imageObject('image_field_name', 'crop_name')

If the field has multiple images you'd iterate over

$block->imageObjects('image', 'mobile')

That should give you the URI for the image.

@User you can loop through the multiples with a

@foreach

loop in blade. If I'm not mistaken if you do something like

@foreach($block->imageObjects('image_field', 'crop_name') as $image)

that will just give you the URL, even though there is actually an underlying image object there with a bunch more useful data.

There are many Laravel blade directives for iterating that are named for PHP iterators like foreach, for, while, etc.

I did this @foreach ($block->imageObjects('image', 'desktop') as $image) {{ dump($image) }} @endforeach and it return me what you see in the dump, I think I'm not far as I see the dummy.jpg name in file, but don't know how to get the full image path from there

Try just {{ $image }}
