if you want that variable to be available in a view whatever the controller, Laravel has view composers

assuming your navigation is in your layout or a partial view or a component, you can attach that composer to it

seems like you are trying to register the menus module routes from your admin.php file which is not needed when using capsules as they have their own individual routes file

a twill capsule is basically a wrapper for a twill module, it doesn't change anything for the twill navigation

in config/twill.php:

in config/twill-navigation.php:

'menus' => [
  'title' => 'Menus',

if you want to put menus under another section of your navigation, you can update the route file in the capsule
