For Spotter chain-of-thought tool response cards, those controls are not managed through Action enums.
From the official Spotter embed docs, the supported controls are:
- spotterChatConfig.hideToolResponseCardBranding: true â hides ThoughtSpot logo/icon on tool response cards
- spotterChatConfig.toolResponseCardBrandingLabel: '' â removes/replaces the branding label prefix text îciteîturn1commentary1î
I could not find a documented Spotter setting to specifically hide the âShow Detailsâ toggle/button itself in chain-of-thought cards.
So today, this appears not exposed as a separate SDK action/config option in official docs. îciteîturn1commentary1î
If your goal is to remove âThoughtSpot: JSONâ branding specifically, this is the supported pattern:
javascript
import { init, AuthType, SpotterEmbed } from '@thoughtspot/visual-embed-sdk';
init({
thoughtSpotHost: 'https://your-ts-instance',
authType: AuthType.None,
});
const spotter = new SpotterEmbed('#ts-spotter', {
worksheetId: '<YOUR_WORKSHEET_ID>',
spotterChatConfig: {
hideToolResponseCardBranding: true,
toolResponseCardBrandingLabel: '',
},
});
spotter.render();
If you want, I can also help you test whether a customizations.style.rules_UNSTABLE selector-based workaround is possible in your current versionâbut that would be CSS-level workaround, not an officially documented Spotter control for that button.Tim

05/07/2026, 3:07 PMEnumeration_Action is for action IDs, but these Spotter chain-of-thought controls are managed via Spotter chat/tool-card config, not standard action enums.
If you want, I can also give you a clean âproduction-safeâ Spotter config snippet that keeps those hidden while preserving other useful controls.Tim

- EmbedEvent.SpotterData
- EmbedEvent.SpotterLoadComplete
- EmbedEvent.SpotterConversationSelected
- EmbedEvent.LastPromptEdited
- EmbedEvent.LastPromptDeleted
âŚbut nothing explicitly for âfeedback submittedâ / thumb rating.
So today, the safe answer is: no public event is documented for that action.
If you want, I can help you add a defensive listener logger to confirm whether any generic event is emitted in your version.
