What would be the best way to find out all the model columns that have dependent objects - liveboard, answer? We are trying to locate all answers/liveboards that uses particular column so we can update/delete accordingly. Right now, all I could be able to get is list of liveboard, answer that is dependent on entire model which produces too much of noise.

When we switch to spotter 3 and upgraded Embedded SDK to 1.49.1, Action.PreviewDataSpotter is not being respected. We are using enabledActions and this action is not in the list but still appears in UI. I switched to Spotter 2 and "Preview Data" was not appearing. Same applies to quick search / Deep Analysis. Hi ThoughtSpot team, I'm integrating Spotter with our application and listening to Spotter events from the parent application. Currently, I'm handling the SpotterQueryTriggered event, which works well for capturing the user's question. I use that event to send the question text to Pendo for analytics. However, I'm trying to capture the scenario where Spotter does not return an answer and instead displays suggested hints or follow-up prompts (for example, suggestions to rephrase the question or recommended queries). I couldn't find an event that is fired for this case, or another way to access the text of those suggested hints. I do see the EditLastPrompt and DeleteLastPrompt events, but neither of those appears to include the suggested prompt text in the event payload. Could you clarify: Is there an event that is emitted when Spotter cannot answer a question and displays suggested hints? If so, which event should I subscribe to? Is the text of the suggested hints available in the event payload or through another API? If there isn't an event today, what is the recommended way to capture those suggestions for analytics integrations such as Pendo? Hello, We promote Liveboard TML across separate ThoughtSpot clusters (dev → sandbox → staging → prod, each its own instance/org). Each destination cluster's Primary org accumulates its own personalised (saved) views on the tier dashboard over time — e.g. staging has ~100, prod has ~400 — created independently by users in that org. Our current approach: on each promotion we search for the existing tier dashboard by tag in the target org, then re-import the new TML with create_new: false, swapping the TML's guid: to match the existing dashboard's GUID (via metadata/tml/import), rather than creating a fresh object. Is GUID continuity (same liveboard GUID before/after tml/import) + create_new: false sufficient to guarantee all existing personalised views on that liveboard remain intact and correctly attached after import? Or do we need to extract all the view_guid tml, from the to be updated liveboard, and add it into the TML being used in the update?

Hello, When we export a Liveboard as PDF via the REST API, the generated PDF’s document metadata /Title is set to "ThoughtSpot". When users open the downloaded file, the PDF reader title bar shows "ThoughtSpot" instead of the Liveboard / report name. We rename the downloaded file correctly (e.g. My_Report_Name.pdf), but many PDF readers prefer the embedded document title over the filename, so the title bar still shows "ThoughtSpot". Hello! I am tasked to improve UI of my app that embeds Thoughtspot Liveboard. The plan is now to divide one Liveboard embedding into separate iframes per chart (Visualisation) so we can achieve most of the UI improvements that are not available through the Full Liveboard Embed like chart specific filters, dynamic titles, redesigned legend, potential annotations for a chart The problem is that splitting those charts into separate entities (iframes) causes huge performance hit. Sometimes just PC runs out of memory due to the 6-8 iframes per tab. And this is on PC with 32 GBs of RAM. Do you have any ideas or best practices from architectural standpoint how to do it?

I noticed Spotter seems to paginate the list of models available by 3. So when I ask which models are available, it will respond with the first 3. I managed to add some instructions to force it to pull all 15, but it does it in batches of three, so the prompt takes a very long time.

How do I get SAMLRedirect working for cross-domain embedding on an IAMv2 instance? I get a 400 from the Okta layer despite adding my domain to SAML redirect domains. When it does work, the session cookie isn't persisted and I get 401 Setup: - Visual Embed SDK v1.50.1 - AuthType.SAMLRedirect - IAMv2 instance (EU region) - IdP: Microsoft Entra ID - Embedding domain hosted on AWS Amplify (different domain from TS instance) Security Settings configured: - CORS whitelisted domains: my-app-domain (no protocol) - CSP visual embed hosts: https://my-app-domain - SAML redirect domains: my-app-domain (no protocol, no trailing slash) - Partitioned cookies: Enabled Behavior: 1. We have few models that contains two copies of same table under different aliases and one of the alias contains single quote '. When I am try to add a formula using the column from these table and thoughtspot is throwing "Invalid TML" because the formula_id contained the single quote. This was fixed by escaping with \ and import worked. This was verified by running a search against that formula based column and formula is working expected. Now the problem is - if I view the same model TML in UI or export it, it does not preserve the \ and now if I click a validate button inside TML editor, it throws error which will go away if I add \ again. Since we are trusting on exported model TML to be a valid tml and use it to import it to all 1400 orgs, it fails. I can't modify the alias of table and remove single quote as it is being used by live customers. Can anyone help on this?
