Yes, personally I believe the termination should not affect the future of any employee, we should give them the relieving and experience letter :)

Providing a relieving letter or an experience letter to a terminated employee is possible, although it may be subject to the reason for their termination.

No. You cannot issue relieving letter legally to the terminated employee as in termination cases fnf settlement is not applicable . Such employees get termination letter so that they do not obligate employer to complete fnf process

Hey @Swati Joshi Yes, you can issue the relieving & experience letter to the terminated employee.
You can also Process his/her F&F settlement (subject to adjustment of recovery, if any).
The content pf the letter might be differ then the normal relieving letter.

Since a lot of employees are taken as terminated in case of layoffs, companies are providing relieving letter without mentioning the notice period dates, and only mentioning their last working day.
