Hi All - Please share if you have any policy around the return from Maternity leave for your employees. Do you have a compulsion that they have to be with the company for 3 to 6 months once they return back?

Haven’t heard about a return from maternity policy / we don’t have any such compulsion and I don’t think that’ll be legal

There are some policies around • Position, performance, promotion • No change in pay strutcure • If the parents wants to extend unpaid maternity leave - the process for that Have not heard about policy around when they need to compulsorily come back. Women can apply for maternity leave for up to 6 months. Women employees can take their maternity leave either before or after they deliver their child. In the 2017 update, flexibility after return and additional paid days off can also be provided by employers. This bond of 3-6 months after the return sounds insensitive. A parent can return to work and realise how they’re still not ready to be at work.
