Hi, during internal transfers, for senior positions, is the HR expected to share the budget or the increment nos with the employee when they are moved? or can be done after completion of probation - increment/corrections back dated.

Ideally should be done during the transfer as the person should be aware of the salary component of the new role. There could be disagreements after completion of probation which could lead to a chaos.

for lateral moves there is no change in salary, for a higher role, we are not sharing the salary details because we don't even know if the employee will be able to scale up to the expectation. but eventually we will give them promotional hike and make it back dated..
