Hi, I have a confusion on double wage calculation when employee works on mandatory holiday. We have an employee who worked on 15 Aug. We need to process his pay this month. His per day salary INR 2000. Will we process 2K in this month or 4K?

For that particular day we have to pay INR 4K (Double the overtime) as he worked on national holiday and is daily salary is INR 2K.

Does this apply to all the industries or only IT Industry?
