Hello, Team! I would like to know about the Incentives Plans for the Technical team to encourage their active participation in conducting interviews.

Thanks for asking Albus
I'm sorry, but the documents provided do not contain specific information about incentive plans for a technical team conducting interviews.

We are hiring for Software Developer in our organization . I would like to provide Allowance for the interviewer (Technical Manager , Software Engineer Team Lead These two department people only conducting interviews) These two department employees are always busy with their team if we provide any compensation means we can close our position ASAP.

interesting / I haven’t come across this - maybe 500-1500 per interview? but not in payroll as it’ll go unnoticed - in R&R
k
Thanks Kartik 500-1500 per interview means based upon the Position that we are hiring right ?
k
I’d say based on the person’s designation and not the person being hired
k
okay That's good insight @Kartik Mandaville

Go for a surprise, don't announce that there's a program like this. Recognise the top 3 (who took Max interviews) at the end of the month. See the impact and share it with this group, please. Advice: Never reward in cash

I suggest to add interviews (weekly twice or thrice) as part of their sprint planning. This helps the manager understand the capacity of the employees. You must try to educate them the importance of hiring new person in the team (distribution of work load, better capacity planning, etc.). Recognising the employees for conducting interviews diligently could also help. Monetary benefits can be initially good but not for someone who conducts 10+ interviews for a open position. Also, doesn't look good on a cultural front that the internal employees are getting paid only to conduct interviews as it's not an outsourced process.

Maybe you can offer additional time off or a flexible work schedule as a reward for conducting interviews. Additionally, could be helpful if they are aware that these initiatives will be valuable and offer an egde at the time of appraisal.

I have a slightly different take. This is part of their org contribution - citizenship behaviour to support the org in building / brining the right set of talent. We have debated this within the org. You can possibly look at # Recognition - #Raising the bar - creating a standard for benchmarking, hiring conversions # Include this as part of performance calibration and give weightage # Perks - Earn points, day off, etc
