Folks, what is the average relocation allowance you offer employees who move from India to countries like Dubai and Singapore? Other than a lump sum what other benefits are provided? Accommodation? One time bonuses? Salary advance? Brokerage fees? Anything else?

Hi Sumana, it depends on the type of movement. If it is long term permanent move 1. Relocation expenses of any household items they may want to move. 2. Accommodation for X number of days (this varies from company to company) within which they need to find their accommodation 3. Help with finding a place 4. A salary revision for the time that they move based on cost of living of that city 5. Relocation bonus 6. X amount of local currency to tide over If it is a short term move 1. Typically per diem 2.
