Thanks
@Sumit Singla for the questions.
@Mohit Gupta here's something that will help: 1. What are the current sources of hiring?- Referrals, Hirist and
cutshort.io
2. Which sources have been found most effective or least effective? Referrals as it improves the stickiness in the candidate and you see very few joining dropouts or interview dropouts
3. What kind of employer brand do you have?- We use a mix of testimonials and use the current internal voice to attract talent outside
4. Which companies do you lose talent to? Not relevant currently but earlier it was Amazon, Publicis Sapient and many start ups” due to high CTC
When thinking of hiring for IT, its important that you have the right hiring panel in place. This panel should be your sounding board for any hiccups along the way. It’s a mix of business, TA and Employee experience. 2ndly have assessments in place and we used HackerRank which was extremely effectively. Lastly and most important have a lean selection process coz IT guys don’t prefer going through rounds and rounds of interview and while they even do that, they have multiple options in hand working for them in parallel. Hope this helps. Good luck!
