Hello Kartik! I'd be happy to help you with strategies to increase your employee Net Promoter Score (NPS) within a month. Based on the setbacks you've mentioned, here are some targeted strategies: 1. Career progression: a. Conduct a skills gap analysis to identify areas where employees can improve and grow. b. Develop a clear career path framework for each role, including potential promotions and lateral moves. c. Offer training and development opportunities, such as workshops, online courses, or mentorship programs. d. Communicate the career path framework and development opportunities to employees. 2. Communication: a. Establish regular communication channels, such as team meetings, town halls, or newsletters. b. Encourage open and transparent communication, including anonymous feedback channels. c. Implement a regular feedback loop, such as one-on-one meetings or performance reviews. d. Train managers on effective communication and active listening skills. 3. Rewards and recognition: a. Implement a formal recognition program, such as employee of the month or peer-to-peer recognition. b. Offer non-monetary rewards, such as extra time off, flexible hours, or professional development opportunities. c. Celebrate team and individual achievements publicly, such as in meetings or on company social media. 4. Compensation: a. Conduct a market analysis to ensure your compensation is competitive within your industry and location. b. Review and update your compensation structure, considering factors like experience, performance, and responsibilities. c. Communicate any changes or updates to employees, and be transparent about how compensation is determined. d. Consider offering additional benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, or stock options. 5. Work-life balance: a. Encourage employees to use their vacation time and promote a culture that respects personal time. b. Offer flexible work arrangements, such as remote work, flexible hours, or compressed workweeks. c. Implement policies to prevent burnout, such as mandatory breaks, limited after-hours communication, or workload management. d. Provide resources and support for employee well-being, such as mental health resources, wellness programs, or stress management workshops. Remember that improving employee NPS is an ongoing process, and it's essential to continuously monitor and adjust your strategies based on feedback and results. While some improvements may be noticeable within a month, it's crucial to maintain these efforts for long-term success.

I'd think improving NPS in a month is an extremely unrealistic goal, which is likely to do more damage than good. (The only parallel I can think of is one of those 'lose weight quick' schemes, which send people's health into a downward spiral)

low NPS means something is wrong so you could in principle identify that and fix the policies - some usual suspects like notice period, delayed leave approvals, no career progression chat, no visibility into org’s financial, vision, benchmarking comp

Even then, it would take longer than a month. I usually get my clients to commit to a 3-6 month journey with the following roadmap: 1. Month 1: Listening and understanding issues from various stakeholders 2. Month 2: 1-2 quick wins (like policy fixes) to reiterate our commitment to solving the problem, followed by agreeing on the approach 3. Month 3-6: Depending on the size, complexity, and nature of issues - working to fix various problems, while keeping the communication channel with employees alive

Thank you Sumit & Kartik for your inputs, The idea as of now is to just brainstorm on strategies. These insights would be helpful.

Team Meeting with no work convo, brown bags, open session with leadership, benchmarking of policies & benefits, are something that helped us.
